I had pretty bad vision before (-9 glasses) on both eyes. Its been 6 months since I had lasik surgery and now I need glasses again. Is this something I should worry about? Thanks in advance. :-)

  3. That's one of the drawbacks to LASIK surgery. People's prescriptions tend to fluctuate throughout their lives and rarely stay the same. That's why those who had this done periodically have to return for "touch ups".

I've also heard that those with mild or moderate prescriptions generally get better results than those with severe prescriptions. Those with severe prescriptions aren't always fully correctable.

  4. You didn't say how old you were, but they usually try to make sure someone's vision is definately not changing any more. Like you're over 20 or so (but there are exceptions) before they will do the operation, specifically to avoid this from happening. They know people aren't happy about spending a lot of money to "not have to wear glasses", and then find out they need glasses again! You're not going blind or anything, but definately contact the place where you had the procedure and let them know (a few places will fix it for free as part of the package, most won't).
