Is it normal to resit the SAT? How do universities view resitting it?

  1. It is normal to retake the SAT or ACT test if you are not happy with your initial score.  When you apply for a college, or apply for a scholarship only your highest score is considered.


  2. Do you mean re take the test? You can retake the SAT or ACT. Colleges will take the best score out of 3. (not sure if there is a limit to how many times you can take it) I think they prefer you to try again if you think you can do better. We have visited 5 different colleges and all admission offices have said to us they take the highest score- I think they assume a lot of students will take it more than once.  I am in the US. I think you are not? we do not say "resit"
