Is it normal to see faint spots in your vision when you look at something light?

like if you look at somwthing white, or the sky, is it normal to see faint little spots floating in your eye? some people told me its normal, then i read something that says that is signs of an eye disease. As far as i can remember ive always seen these, i think since childhood...

  1. Do these spots move when you try to look at them? If so, these are floaters. They're usually completely harmless--if anything, it's more of an annoyance than something to stress over. The only time you really have to worry about the floaters being disease-related is if you seem to have a lot of them.

  2. I think it is very normal.  I wonder who doesn't have them.

  3. Floaters are often clear and jellylike, sometimes they're black specs. Everybody has them. People with natural perfect eyesight rarely see them, their visual systems are much more able to filter them out in the eyes and from the pictures in the brain. People tend to see more of them as their glasses prescriptions increase. People can also see them more during times of stress.
