Is it normal to see white static/snow?

Most of the time, I see very faint white static over everything I see. I'm not sleep deprived, i'm not on any medications, I don't do drugs or drink, or anything. So can anyone tell me why I see static over everything?

  1. If it doesn't bother you, then great.  This is something that actually a lot of people experience.  You can find a forum for it here:

    www.visualsnow.com

A word of caution: The best thing you can do is not worry about it.  Spending too much time on that board and researching it mostly just leads to paranoia and hypochondria.

Disclaimer: I'm not a doctor, what I give is not medical advice, just my opinion based on knowing nothing about your medical history.

    All the best.

  2. Do you wear contact lenses?  If so, your contacts may need a good enzyme cleaning!  (Or, if they're disposable, pitch them and use a new pair.)

If you don't wear contacts, then you need to see an eye doctor as soon as possible . . ."floaters" or a "curtain" can mean that you have retinal degeneration.   In any event, it is definitely not normal to see what you appear to be seeing.
