Question:

Is it normal to spot so early?

I had my last period July 27-Aug 2. Yesterday (16th) I went to the washroom and I wiped and I think I "spotted", it was peach/pinkish. So far I haven't seen any more "spotting", just that one time. I saw my bf on the 9th and we didn't have unprotected s*x. I think there is a very small chance I would be pregnant, cause the sperm would have had to find its way past the underwear, to my v****a and then up into the uterus.

I've always had irregular periods, though they have always been at least 30 days apart (and that would be counting from Aug. 2). So technically I wouldn't expect my period for at least another couple (to three) weeks. There has been one instance in the past (due to stress) that I had two periods within the same month. I have been quite stressed too lately (started new job and have school soon) and this is only making me more stressed because I am a constant worrier.

Is this normal? Thanks a lot.

  1. Sperm would not have lived past your underwear so I think you are safe.  Spotting can be a sign of ovulation.  If the spotting persists at different times of the month it may point to something like PCOS so see your doctor.
