Is it normal to use the double delivery spout on a gaggia classic for a single cup of coffee? ?

I bought a gaggia classic yesterday and according to the diagram the double delivery spout can be removed for cleaning but it seems impossible to remove. I was just wondering if it was normal to leave the double spout on there when making only one cup.

Any guidance appreciated...

Yes

However you will only use the single filter instead of the double. Unless you like it strong of course.

it depends on your taste. I do that as well though and there is no problem.
