Is it normal... (tongue ring)?

i got my tongue pierced like 3 days ago professionally and the top ball is sinking in its like half way in

i was wondering if that was normal

Yeah thats what happened to me i kept playing with it and as it wasn't healed it had a big hole at the top and the ball went in it slightly, and i also got this white stuff around the top and bottom which is normal, after a week and try not to play it starts to heal and it should be ok.

It sounds like the bar bell isn't long enough, they are supposed to put an extra long one in, when piercing to leave room for swelling. I would go back and ask them to put a longer one in.
