Is it normal when you dye your hair then you wash it out and it looks as if the hair dye comes out?

Yeah..It's just the access color coming off the strand and scalp..It'll be there for a few days, then the water will clear.

Yes, it's just rinsing out the excess that wasn't absorbed into the hair  shaft.

it's normal, what you see coming out is the extra dye that your hair did not use... that extra hair dye does not effect your new hair color

Yes but its not supposed to all be out.

Your only supposed to see it in the drain and while you rinse your hair the dye will come out with it.

Thats just extra, but when your hair drys it will still be there.

it's completely normal when you use a darker color dye, or any color really, it's just that when its a lighter color it isn't as obvious.  it would be weird if you didnt see the dye washing out. just keep rinsing your hair until you dont see the concentrated color in the water anymore. don't worry :]
