I cant close my mouth all the way with my new clear retainer. Is that normal?

  1. I just got my braces off yesterday and got my retainer today and the same thing is happening to me. It seems to me that it would be normal since the retainer takes up extra space in your mouth. It will probably just take some getting used to.
