Indian Premier League

Whom should the cricket fans support?

All the circket player enemies are friends now.

All the cricket player friends are also friends now.

Really confusing for the fans, I think.

  1. Welcome to the Indian Premier League ...

where Friends turn foes and foes turn friends!

The IPL no doubt has been a tremendous success and it will definitely help improve the relations between foreign players. More over the youngsters are getting an opportunity of a lifetime...look at the u-19 players..they are getting to share the dressing room with one of the biggest names in World Cricket....also i feel sad for the ICL for being named as 'a rebel league'...they were the one's who started this trend of holding such matches between different teams with international players and they BCCI plagiarised their idea and made it a BIGGER league of their own.

Hope ICL gets the status what it deserves

  2. I did feel that too. Know what you are saying. So I hear you!

Was happy when Ponting was out!!! LOL.

And I support SRK 's Kolkata Knight Riders.

Edit: It has nothing to do with my State. It is a personal choice.

  3. I reckon its good for the game. for example it is helping the players from different countries to appreciate eachother. I meant the aussies and the indians look to be getting on great now.

Watching mixed teams rather than the same teams over and over is interesting and exciting

  4. I think that was the main idea behind it mate. They want to up the profile of the Indian Premier League...after all, can't have the Aussies and the Brits monopolise ALL of the cricket TV viewing rights. How else are you going to get Aussies to watch Cricket from India...? Put a whole lot of Aussies in it! Frankly I think it is ridiculous, and makes a mockery of our great institution of International cricket...but hey...if they are willing to pay our guys millions of dollars for a couple of bodgey matches...then I guess we should let them have their 5 minutes of fame! I personally don't think the novelty will last long.

  5. wow That is S0 confusing!

  6. its not a confusing pblm .the real cricket is win here

  7. This sort of Cricket took place when Kerry Packer commercialised in Australia by conducting Day night match with top players from AUS,WI,ENG,PAK,NEWZ.But this entirely different thing. When you watch certain movies you have to just watch the movie, applying brain will no good.Like that you have to see these sort of matches. They are getting money ,they laugh, only the spectators are real fools.I saw the first match, were in Ganguly was in happy mood with Ricky.

Eleven fools are playing eleven thousand fools are watching this is a old saying. All players are playing making the spectators as fools.

  8. yeah i kind of agree with u. it was weird watching boucher bat against pollock yday when those two have finished so many games together for sa

  9. SRK Kolkata Knight Riders.

  10. One should support the team of their state.

  11. U R CONFUSED.......'IPL" is doing a tremendous job, by bringing in players from all the teams.....this will not only bring status to the game, but also unity among the players ,who r clubbed into different teams..

  12. support the team from your city or state

  13. jst support the better cricket ...do luk for team ..cheer for every six n every wickt..

  14. You're confusing!

  15. May be, it is confusing for you and all who watch the game. But, its not to confuse  you and me or anybody!? The IPL has come into picture, to make cricket popularize through the non-cricketing countries and make it popular than FOOTBALL and BASKET BALL. And also to make money for themselves(BCCI). Now you may ask me a question that "why should I watch it?" . There you are, it is only entertainment for 3 hours like a movie... Just watch it n enjoy...

  16. When it was inter-university matches I supported my university.

Some players went on to district level. I supported my district team (this team included players from my university and other universities- no rivals). Some from district team went to State team. I supported my state team. (consisted players from all the districts-no rivals)

Some from state team went on to national team. I supported my national team. (players from all the states-no rivals)

Some from national teams went on to play IPL. Again no rivals. Whom should I support. My favourite players are distributed in all the franchises. Its best I support the game, the sporting spirit.
