Is it not legal to travel to India via Dubai?

Hi, I have confirmed tickets from Atlanta, US ( via NY- Dubai- to Bangalore. Recently in the radio I heard an Add saying it is not legal to travel to India via Dubai - is that correct? Please help!!

  1. It is legal. I have stayed at the dubai airport in transit for as long as 8 hours.
