Is it not odd that snow is still welcomed after five months?

Even though the snow keeps us shut in, for some reason this year the snow is welcomed. We have had gobs of snow and it is still coming. This is the first year that I remember enjoying snow this long. It is great!!! Is it not odd for us to still welcome snow?

Do you mean at your home / in town or at the mountain?

I lived somewhere where it snowed for six months.  I got used to it but didn't welcome it after a point.

At the mountains I'd be happy to hear that it's snowing in July.  Year round boarding would be great!

Absolutely not! As global warming has impacted total snow fall, we (or most of us!) have a renewed appreciation for it.

Please don't rub it in. We haven't had a quality dump since New Years Day here in the WONDERFUL Poconos.

Why did I move back here from VT?....Oh yeah. The wife and I almost doubled our annual income. (That's a rhetorical question...don't answer.) Somedays I wonder if it was really worth it.

Send that snow here!!!!! I can see rocks between the trees!!!
