I'm trying to research beauty schools (more specifically, skin care programs) but I'm not having much luck. Schools don't post tuition and it's a pain to try to contact them all. If anyone has been to a school for the same thing, I'd really appreciate your input, or if you are now an Esthetician and have any other advice, I'd appreciate that as well.

  1. Private, for-profit schools often charge that much, and increasingly they are unable to offer financial aid because there is a lousy repayment rate.  Check on the placement rate, and how well the graduates do--that is critical.  You should look for a public 2-year program, even if it takes longer.  You will pay much less, and get a chance at placement.
