  1. no way!The only time to run is probably between 12-3 am.

I get up at 5 am to run just so that i dont have to run in the heat.

  2. only reason would be if you had a job

  3. no why would it be odd its better

  4. It's condidered odd here! I live in south Texas and between 1pm & 4pm it's up in the 90's and sometimes over 100 degrees out, so most people jog early in the morning or late evening once everything cools off. Depends on where you live I guess.

  5. Too d**n hot this time of year.

  6. No, if you only have time in your schedule to run between 1 and 4 pm then that's  when you will be running.   It may be a little hot in the summer, so make sure you watch the weather and take some extra water if it's going to be hot, so you don't pass out or get dehydrated.

  7. only reason it would be odd is if it was really hot out.  the sun is strongest midday.  wear sunscreen!

  8. ...

In a way, it's odd to run between 1 pm and 4pm, but only because most non-cross country or track runners run early in the morning or in the evening.

However, if that's when you can run, or like to run, then run at that time!  From your body's perspective, that's the best time to run!  It's the time of day when your muscles are warmest, and you're less likely to get injured.   And because it's still fairly early in the day, even after a long or fast workout your body will "calm down" and relax in time for you to get a good night's sleep.

And of course, in the winter, unless you're up in the Arctic, that's one of the best times of the day to enjoy some natural light while running!

So if you can run between 1 pm and 4 pm, and you like to run at that time, do it!

    Regards,

    Phil

  9. No i go running around that time almost everyday and I live in Florida. You can get better conditioned If you run at a hot time like that. Just make sure you hydrate a bunch.
