Is it ok, to wear leather clothes when in your 40s?

I'm not keen on leather trousers - too sweaty and squeaky but no reason you should not wear them just because you are in your 40s.

Trousers no? Jackets, maybe. If you're part of the motorcycle culture then it's suiting, or you're going for the business type attire then it's okay, but if it's sleazy you might come off trashy.

honestly, id think it was cool and it shows that even at 40 you can be a fashion icon.

if youre wearing about leather then wear a well fitted leather jacket but also, remember that leather trousers have made a comeback but not red ones. no, they will never come back.

instead of leather you could wear wet look jeans or leggins which are also very cool and in fashion.

Of course, there’s nothing wrong with leather clothing. Boot cut leather trousers and knee length leather skirts are fine and if matched with a fitted shirt or sweater looks both s**y and classic. If you feel comfortable in leather go for it.

It's perfectly fine to wear leather at all ages. At the end of the day it's a material and texture. It is suited to all ages and will never go out of fashion (woah! bargain!). Just steer clear from the tight trousers and mini skirts and the rest is all yours!
