Is it ok for a 14 year old boy to want to be a bartender?

yea i was thinking about waiting tables until i was 21 then becoming a bartender then opening my own bar.

I think it's a great ambition to WANT to be a bartender at 14. It's has the potential to be a great paying gig as well as meeting interesting people.

You can't actually BE a bartender until the age of 21 however. You can serve alcohol at 18, but can't pour until you're 21 (at least that's how it is in Washington State).

I would reccomend starting to study your alcohols and drinks (don't drink them) to become well versed in the profession.

no because you are still too young and i think and assume that you must be 18 or older to have that kind of job. why? Because it includes alcohol. Thats all i know.

Well you can want too. It's not wrong or anything.. But you know you can't till your older.

yeah, sure. that doesn't imply wanting to drink, just to serve and mix drinks. but you can't until you are an adult (21) so get prepared i guess?
