  1. small amounts - cheese will constipate the tot

  2. I give my 22 month old twins lots of cheese and they have not problems!

  3. small  bits - yes     I BB sit alot  and she loves cheese!

  4. Yes, according to the chart my pediatrician gave me you can give it to them in moderation at 10 months.

  5. yeah the babys like almost 2 years already in my family babys start eating everthing after like a year

  6. small soft cheese yeah.

  7. The biggest problem with giving little ones cheese is it can cause constipation.  Start with small amounts and increase as tolerated by your child.

  8. of course, why not?

  9. I think it would be better to feed it tofu.  Tofu looks like cheese but is way more healthy.

  10. Not if he's alergic to it and you can't feed it to him if he doesn't have his teeth in yet he should be able to chew it

  11. Cheese is fine if it is cubed small. Cheddar, american, monty jack, baby swiss, cojack, colby, cream cheese, cottage cheese are all ok at toddler age. Avoid bleu's and gorgonzola type cheeses due to the molds in them and any cheese that is not pastuerized. Goat cheese is another one to avoid right now.

I wouldn't give them a lot but a slice once in a while won't hurt them. The calcium is good for their bones and teeth. I'd limit it though to no more than 3 times a week. Too much and you could make their tiny systems block up.

  12. Yes, that is a wonderful little snack!

  13. yea its totally ok. they love string cheese!

I would do it only like for one meal though because then they get constipated and constipation =crabby baby!

  14. your baby should be fine, but make it once a day, instead of a few times. although some kids handle it absolutely fine, others react to it in a very negative way. it all depends on the baby's current health condition. you can try giving it once a day, but no more than that, due to the fact that it may lead to allergies and other problems. if your baby is healthy, once a day is more then enough. (also, make the servings small)

  15. Cheese has a ton of protein and we all know that toddlers are pretty picky eaters.  I don't know about your kid but when mine was that age he wouldn't really eat much of anything...cheese was a staple in his diet then, and we still eat cheese in many forms during the day (string cheese, cottage cheese...you get the point) As long as you make sure your kid gets enough water (or something else to drink besides milk) you shouldn't have to worry about constipation...I never did.  Hope this helps!

  16. if its in small pieces and if its not hard then ya its definitely ok

  17. yes of course.  my son loves cheese.  make sure you balance it out with some grapes or raisins.

  18. As long as it's not making them constipated.

  19. my 13 month olds favorite thing to eat is grilled cheese sandwhiches.

  20. My 14 month has cheese all the time. As long as they get green to match.

  22. only if his father is a rat....

  23. I've had 4 kids and I wouldn't have a problem giving cheese to them.

  24. i have a two year old... she LOOOVES cheese. i wouldnt worry about it

  25. yes it will make him extra horny and he will have bad gas

  26. I say yes!!  I have a 12 yr old, 9 yr old and a 22 month old.  Your baby will let you know if it's okay!!  For mine, it's fine.  If your baby gets constipated or sick, you'll know - not so much on the cheese!!  I give my 22 month string cheese for a snack all the time, and our dinner almost always has something with cheese.  You'll know quickly if your baby is okay with it!!

  27. I don't understand why not, my kids had cheese since they were 10-11 months old.  As long as it is cut up small and they don't shove all of the pieces in their mouth at once.  I would try to make sure it doesn't exceed 2 oz. a day.

  28. nothing wrong with it. I use to Nanny a 20 month old and that little boy practically lived off cheese. Mac n Cheese, Cheese crisp, cheese sandwich. You name it that kid loved it. The parents always had to make sure there was cheese in that house.

nothing wrong with it at all. That Child is healthy as a horse and sweet as pie.

  29. Yes. A child that is almost 2 and can eat solids can have small amounts of cheese daily.
