Is it ok for a girl to ask for guys' phone numbers?

These guys are two classmates of mine. But we are not really friends. Was it ok that I asked their phone numbers? I don't have a crush on either of them (and I don't think I will.) I just asked them for their numbers in case I need to ask them something and because we may become friends.

Do you think my behavior was acceptable?

They gave me their numbers but we haven't contacted via phone yet.

YES!!!! guys LOVE it when girls make the first move to become friends or more.  Just if your not interested in them as more than friends, don't flirt while asking them for their number

It is fine to ask for guys nbrs. I just don't understand why you did, seeing as you said that you are not even friends with them...just that you MIGHT be. What is the point???

I get the numbers of people that I WILL be in contact with, whether as friends, social contacts or more.

The guys like that, i ask guys for their no.s too, just to say hi every once in a while, they really like that, they all concider me from their best friends ( i mean com'on, i was at the club with 4 of them alone then they expanded to 6) they really like girls to be fun and not so shy, so you go girl, and yeah u don't have to have a crush on them to get their phone no.s, i don't cuz i like older guys ;-)
