Question:

Is it ok for a reiki healer to use his sessions as a means to have s*x with clients??

I began to get close to a reiki practioner. He was full of knowledge but then I caught on to this habit he has of manipulating clients, (he only sees females, by the way), to have s*x with him. How can a healer do that? They are aware, or so you'd think, of karma, why and how could he think that's ok?

that illegal and rally bad and disgusting

    stop going to c him

  2. Absolutely not! This breaks the cardinal code of conduct; and he can be taken to court and lose any licenses or privileges to practice.  Is this a private practice?

  3. What did you expect?  Reiki is a fraud or at best a delusion.  If the Reiki Master is either fraudulent or delusional then it is only a small step to becoming a sexual predator.  Or maybe he started out a sexual predator and became a Reiki Healer to satisfy not only his sexual appetite but also a way to make money and satisfy his desire for power.

  4. This is totally unacceptable.

If his person belongs to an association, report them immediately.

If not, go to your local Town Hall's / Citizen's Advice bureau, and report them.

  5. Oh my goodness!

Manipulating clients? You must mean maniputaling idiots!

You need to ask yourself one single question:

"Are the clients aware that s*x with the practitioner is not compulsory during a Reiki treatment?"

If the answer is "YES", then more fool them. Leave him and his other clients alone to enjoy their strange little system. I find this practise repulsive but it happens in other fields of human endeavor, so I'm not surprised to hear of it happening in the Reiki community. Trash is trash, healer or not.

If the answer is "NO", then you MUST do something to help these people. YOU NEED FACTUAL INFORMATION! HUNCHES ARE NOT GOOD ENOUGH! Here are my suggestions:

    1. Check if he's a member of a Reiki organisation. If the answer is Yes, contact them and find out if they condone his behaviour. No organisation I know of would support this.

    2. Leak the story to a local current affairs show. Let them hang him out to dry.

    3. Get a hold of his client list and send an anonymous letter to everyone on it. While it's illegal to steal it, I'd do it anyway. How bad can your own karmic debt be for such an act? I'd risk it. get someone to wait in the reception while you go off for a treatment. Have them steal his records while you're on the table.

    4. I do not know if his behaviour is against the law. I guess it depends on where you live. Check this with your local authorities. They'll think you're crazy. Make sure you have facts first.

    5. Take your story to other Reiki practitioners in the area. Have them run a spread in the newspaper about what Reiki 'is' and 'isn't'. This could be in the form of a paid ad or an interview.

    6. Mount a poster on his workspace each night that says "s*x is not required for Reiki."

Again, please make sure you have certain proof that this is occurring before you do anything. Not only would you risk making yourself look a fool, you might seriously destroy the life of another.
