Is it ok for bearded dragons to eat lettuce

i was reading a quishtion on here and they said dont feed beardys lettuce is this true

  1. Kale is ok but not iceberg or other leafy one the name escapes me they really like Radish caps (the root part)

  3. Lettuce wont kill him but i would stop feeding it too him it has no nutritunal value to beardies and is very high in water

  4. well it couldnt kill him but he can become malnourished and sick from not getting the nutritional value he needs. start feeding him spinach leaves, mustard greens, stuff like that. that gives him the nutrition he needs. if he really likes lettuce, it can be offered as a treat every once in a while.

  5. lettuce has no nutritional value for the lizard. Spinach leaves, mustard greens are a much better food for it. Best of luck.

  6. Try giving him Kale, boiled sweet potatoes, green beadandelioned carrots, dandelion flowers and leaves, apples, peaches, even yard grass. mine loves these things. They usually eat more bugs than veggies most the time any way. But please, no more lettuce. It does absolutely no good.
