Is it ok for me to bring my 7 month old to my friends baby shower?

Ask the person hosting the party.

Ask the hostess.  I say that if you CAN leave your child with a family member or husband....then do.  The shower is about celebrating your friends' baby and you wouldn't want to take the attention off of her.

However, you wouldn't want to have to go to the trouble of setting up a babysitter only to get there and discover half the guests have babies there.

Just be sensitive to your friends' day......but I imagine either way will be fine!

ideally since it is a baby shower I would say yes, but I would check with the host to make sure that it is ok to bring your child first.
