Is it ok for me to ride my atv in alleyways only?

  1. or fields if you have permission.  since you have no turn signals, liscense plate, insurance, brake tag, or registration its illegal in the street or on sidewalks.  where do you live, a city?  if theres no traffic, you could get away with riding it on your street for short bursts.  it is illegal though, so dont do anything stupid


  2. thats a tricky one; some police officers, in small towns, will let you get away with it. if you have grumpy neighbors, they might call the cops on you. to be street legal, your bike needs to have turn signals, mirrors, a head light, a brake light, registration, license plate, and insurance in case you accidentally hit someone or something. Without insurance you risk having your parents sued in a lawsuit should you hurt someone or damage someones property. The results of that could be catastrophic . . . you could lose your house and everything . . . including your ATV. Thats a risk you have to decide for yourself if its worth taking.
