Is it ok for me to take the fall ACT during my senior year?

Or will I fall behind on apps?

Here is what one of my colleges says:

"The application deadline is October 1 for Early Action (non-binding) and December 15 for Regular Notification."

So do I have to apply by October 1st? That means I couldn't take it on Fall...but what if I apply to another college that accepts it later, is it ok?

  1. I'm going to be a senior too, and I'll be taking the Septermber one. Since I want to get into U of I's early action thing (which is the beginning of Nov., end of Oct.), I can't really do the October one. It all depends on the college(s) you want to apply to. Go to their website and check out their submission dates.

Heck, you can even take the Nov. test if you don't want to do early decision (still it depends on the colleges). Remember that the ACT results will come in around a month after you've taken the test... just be sure you have enough time to get your transcripts and everything together.

Hope that helped, good luck to you and me.
