Calling you that may be funny, but in reality, it's verbal abuse. Very often verbal abuse moves on to psychological and then physical abuse.

I can handle that cause i know that i can be one and sometimes on purpose. There is only one word that really pisses me off and it starts with a c_ _ t.

If you are disrespected by it you need to let him know. Otherwise, it sounds like a type of 'pet' thing. Not a very attractive choice, though...

Respect is a big part of a relationship if you are palying and both ok with it its fine, if it is degrading then no its bad.

Every couple is different. I know a happily married couple that call each other names, but laugh about it.  It wouldn't work in my relationship.  Those 2 have been married little more than 25 years and they are a biker couple and it is just their love talk.  They don't yell at each other and they playfully smack each others butts in public.  He bought her a nice Harley for her birthday.  It show that it all depends and everyone is different.
