  1. if the public school fulfill all your education expectations &if there is no other school near than this then your decision will quite right.

  2. Generally, your residential address will determine what school you attend.  There is no rule about distance; rather, it is up to the district to determine the boundaries.  If you wish to attend a school that is not the one your district says you should attend, you have a couple of options.  First, you could use the address of someone you know who lives within the boundaries.  This one can be tricky as you may be required to provide proof of residence, such as a utility bill showing your guardian's name.  Second, you could appeal to the district for an intra-district transfer, meaning you attend a school other than the one the boundaries prescribe for you.  To pursue this one, you need to be prepared to tell compelling reasons you should attend that school, as well as that you can provide your own transportation.  If it doesn't work out, try to see it as an opportunity and make the best of it.  Good luck!

  3. It depends on your boards guidelines.

I go to a school 45 minutes away, even though there's a school in town because my district has busses so really it just depends.

  4. Travel time is good. Some schools have zoning, some role restrictions. Ring them and find the details.
