  1. yes, don't worry. if you have a purifier it would be even better to get bad chemicals out of the water but doing it without it would be fine too.

  2. dechlorinator solution is all you need

  3. Sure! If it's more than 10 gallons, let it sit for at least a week. If it's under, than 5 days should be okay. or put in conditioner. Have the water tested at your local petstore, and if it's perfect for whatever fish you have, than you're ready to go!

  4. It is completely fine, I use it with my fish and they have lasted a long time.

  5. Yes.  Will you be adding fish, or already have some?  Then you will need to either age the water for a day, or use conditioner in it.  Unless it's well water.

  6. Sure.  I used to add a water conditioner that was supposed to make tap water better for the fish, but I've now run out and have been using straight up tap water with no apparent ill effects.  Another option is to fill up a big pot with tap water, and let it sit out for 24 hours - this way the chlorine will dissipate before you add it to your tank.

  7. yes it's possible to use sink water in your fish tank as long as you don't make it too hot @ you can use cold water from your sink in your tank for i keep gold fish

  8. yes you can, fill a bucket with your tap water and treat it with water conditioner overnight. Then add it to the tank. I do this and i have the WORST water and all my fish are fine.

  9. Well you will need to buy the clorine remover at a place like petco you just add it to the water. :)

  10. yea use the tap water but buy some water conditioner to kill all the bad stuff in the water for ur fish to live

  11. I do an my fish are fine :)

  12. As long as you have a good water conditioner that neutralizes chlorine, chloramines & heavy metals, there's no reason why you can't use tap water.
