Is it ok if i have a clear 3oz bottle that i bought from Walmart or Target and use it as my liquid container?

For the carry on to a Flight. Also, Does the 3oz bottle have to be full? And can the bottle also have gels.

Im asking this because i might by some face washes when i travel to a differnt city and dont want them to thrown away when i go back home by TSA.

And i cant do checked luggage btw.

Yes you can.  It does not have to be full.  It can have gels in it.
