  1. No... usually the male eats or kills the babies so dont put them together. Make sure you don't touch the hamsters too much because you will leave your human scent, and that makes the mother very anxious to the point that the mother eats the babies     so the best way to take care of the hamsters is not to touch them .

Anyways here is a page that might help you a lot.

  2. No, the mama needs to be by herself.  The male could make her really nervous and she could eat her babies when they are born.  Also, after the babies are born the male could eat them.  It actually isn't uncommon for hamsters to eat their babies.  I hope this doesn't happen with you but definitely remove the male right away.

  3. No!.....She'll get upset if she doen't have her own space, through fear of him getting in the nest she's building. Most of the time they bite and chase & squeal at the male, but if she fears the babies are in danger, she may eat them. Thats why breeders and pet stores remove the babies as soon as they can.

  4. No. But if she doesnt mind they will want to keep making babies.

  5. No, it isn't. First of all, he can get her pregnant again very shortly after she gives birth which is not good for her at all. Why are you breeding them? Breeding is not something to trifle with, please don't backyard breed.

  6. Probably not the best idea.

Teddy bear/Syrian hamsters just shouldn't live together, and althought dwarf hamsters can live together up until the birth, if the male is still in there after she gives birth, they are both likely to turn and kill the young, so what if she gives birth at night or when you're not around, and the male is still in there?

If you weren't an irresponsible breeder, you'd know this.
