  1. It is just fine if the cat leaves her kittens for a while.  Sometimes the mother just needs to be left alone for a bit.  It also allows the kittens to explore a bit while mom is gone.  It is perfectly normal.  I know of a cat that just had kittens about two months ago and the mother often did the same thing.  The kittens are just fine now.

  2. As long as the kittens are gaining weight, it is fine. A mom has to have a few moments to herself.

  3. as long as the kittens are not screaming. leave mom alone.

at about 2 weeks old, mom starts weaning them by leaving them alone for awhile. it starts to get them to realize mom wont always be there and they need to start learning how to care for them selfs.

  4. That is fine as long as she goes back to them. A mom needs a break once in a while. They usually leave for a little while the babies are sleeping.

  5. my cat did that but as it turned out all of them died but one some cats arent meant to be mommies there more of attention getters than attention givers so i would let her but make sure shes still taking care of her babies if it gets worse and looks like there not getting enough milk you might have to buy a kitty bottle and feed them. I think they'll be fine but just keep your eyes on them
