  1. Don't do that I tought I was tmac and I played like c**p, play like you do use your own moves. SEE you cannot imagine being an NBA player because you are not like them

  2. What up hoopstar11,

Well as you said- if it helps you play better- nohting wrong with it - as long as it doesn't distract you from what's going on in the game. i  don't imagine that i'm the NBA player- but i have learned different things from watching different NBA players- for example i've 4 different releases on my jumpers that i can use- depending on how i want to use them.

But hey if it helps you play better- why not???  Who is going to know about it- hopefully you don't run back down the court yelling- i'm CP3 or Kobe, or whoever... but if it helps you- then go for it...

But eventually you just want to be the best you -- but i must admit that i've learned a lot of things from watching tape of NBA players play.

  3. ya

  4. theres nothing wrong with that its also good to be creatice try to learn from your favorite players rather than to aim to be exactly like them. if that brings you confidence go ahead and picture your self as kobe with 5 seconds left.

  5. That's what Kobe Bryant does.  It works pretty good for him, but it's better to create your own game.

  6. yes.

  7. It's called "visioning." It's like a rehearsal, imagining that you are going to turn in a great performance. But don't go all the way, leave a little room to develop your own original style.

  8. I imagined I was Kobe when I was talking to some random girl in a hotel room. And I got away with it too!

But in basketball, I just picture what I could do and try to do them again and maybe do them better.

Know yourself and be better than yourself.

  9. I think if you do that then you get away from being creative and that is going to hurt your skills more than it helps
