It seems a waste not too - but is it legal ? Have companies already paid the postage or is it only charged on use.

  1. well you are not supposed to do it but nobody will arrest you if you do lol

  2. ive done this before

    heheheheee

  3. No it is not legal and could be classified as fraud. The prepayment is really only for reply to the originator. Might be difficult to police but you could find trouble brewing in the future.

    Happy New Year.

  4. Yes it is illegal. However, there is nothing wrong with re-using the envelopes if you are paying postage.

  5. I hate wasting the envelopes too. You can buy envelope re-use labels and put your own stamps on. That is legal and greener.

  6. It's only illegal if you get caught

  7. It won't work.  I can't remember why, but i think it only works if they go to the original address.

  8. sorry it is not legal

  9. It may be ok to re-use the envelope but not to re-use the postage.

I think it's fraud and if you do use the envelope without putting a stamp on it, it would be classed as unpaid and the recipient will have to pay the postage plus a surcharge.
