  1. those parts are designed to withstand all conditions. but it would give your bike extra years if you avoid hitting the parts w/c are related to electricals with too much water especially pressurized ones

  2. The only thing I would recommend is plugging the end of the exhaust first to save your packing, but other than that no problem.

  3. lol.... do you think dirt bikes would be anywhere nar as popular if you couldn't? dirt bikes get DIRTY.... and quick... that's alot of detailing time.... just get a pressure washer and stand back a bit (dont' wanns trip your paint) make sure you plug your muffler... (you can buy the plugs or use a rug, just stuff it in tight.)

make sure you dry everything... the less time water spends on your bike, the better (not it won't damage it... but there is one flaw, and most bikes share... steel... which rusts and degrades farily quickly....

use a blower for lawn care to get to spots the towel can't if you have to...

it's not totally nessicary... but if you cherish your ride like i do, you'll take the time to take care of it.

and regaurdless of water resistant grease or not, make sure you grease everything down after it's dry.

  4. it doesn't effect more but it is preferable to clean it for your bick sefty.

  5. yeah, its totally ok to do that. i usually use a pressure washer on mine afterwards, no scrubbing necessary and it always runs perfect!!

  6. Don't use a jetwash directly at bearings (swingarm, wheels, headstock) it can drive the grease out, you can also use a bung in the exhaust.

  7. that's exactly what everybody I know does.

    Just hose it down.

    good Luck...
