Is it ok that a restaurant keeps open i the restroom is out of order?? 2?

I post this before, but i coudn't make any coments on the answer people gave me...

The bathroom was out of order for the hole day, acording to what one of the employees said, it didn't brake at 4 am...

and to new_wisdominteresting; I WASN'T DRUNK.. i was in time square because i didnt have anywhere to go, we live in DC and i went to NY to wait for the new year there... we couldn't find any place to stay and have to wait for the bus until the next morning... So where are suggesting me to go pee???... in the street?.. I am a women, not a guy... Beautiful advice!!, so mature... How could i even think about looking for a restroom if i want to pee??.

And my question was if you guys think it is ok... and i got an answer, most of you guys think it is.. but not to make a personal comment on my behavior, because you weren't there

ok, if both the male and female washroms are out of order, it is against the law to stay open up here in my part of canada, if either one is still working then there has to be a doorperson outside the door so that a guy can't walk in if a lady is in there and vis-versa. it is within the law then.

I do not really understand the question but, if a restaurants bathroom is not working they do not have to close. The employees can wash their hands in the back. As long as there is not a flood or backed up sewerage . they can remain open. You just can't us the restroom.

pee in a hotel. there are plenty of them in NY.
