I paid about $1300 for a yearly membership that begins in about a month, but have changed my mind about joining that particular church. Will it be rude to ask them for a refund??

  1. Ask them for your money back Icecream, and if they don't give it back take them to court. Did you sign any paperwork? If you did read the fine print. If you did not and they baulk, like I said take them to court. They may say that they are entitled to keep some of the money because of this or that, but if you are not satisfied with their answer take it in front of a judge. That's just the way things are these days. I know it's a church but people are real funny about money, and churches are no exception.

  2. Wait you actually paid to join a church? wow that was stupid.... if you were dumb enough to actually pay them to join then let them keep the money and just take this as a lesson.

  3. it rude be rude but who cares its your money

  4. Churches don't have paid memberships. Get a refund from this scam, pronto!

  5. Any church that has fees or takes money in advance is a scam. You can try but you probably won't get anything back unless you take legal action.

  6. Did it happen to be Scientology?  If it was your not getting your money back.
