Is it ok to ask for a job referal from an employer that you haven't worked for long? ?

I have just started this job about 2 weeks ago, and I already see that I don't like it. The only reason I took the jobs was because it was owned by the place that I really want to work for. I figured that I'd work my way up to something better, but I HATE IT!!!

Can I ask for them to put me in another department?
