Is it ok to be living on my own but sometimes borrowing money from my parents?

I give them money when they need some extra after paying bills.

Is this ok?

I also visit them twice a week...

Doesn't sound as if you're own your own if your borrowing money from your parents.

If you're ok with it and they are ok with it then it's ok.  But if one or the other of you is feeling taken advantage of then you need to reconsider borrowing money from them...Or even lending them money.
