Is it ok to be taking microgynon 30 whilst on citalopram?

Ive been on microgynon for a year now and have recently been prescribed citalopram but am not completely sure if those 2 can be taken together. I know some antidepressants cant but not sure about this specific one.

If anyone has had the same and knows that would be great thanks :)

I took this combination a couple of years ago and it was absolutely fine - I doubt your doctor would have prescribed both drugs if there was any risk. I also just checked online and there was no mention of any interaction. If you're not sure though you should definitely ask your doctor for reassurance to put your mind at rest.
