Is it ok to brag?

BCUZ i just had my life long dream happen I'm an aspiring singer and 3 days ago i was offered a record contract.! WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I do think it's OK to brag a bit in this case, just make sure you make the most of the opportunity you've been given and you don't have to return here with the tail between your legs regretting having been a bit cocky about it.

Hmmmm.... I don't like the word "brag" but definitely be proud and share your accomplishments with those around you, they are sure to be interested.

I think It is Okay to brag, but not to much, like if you are telling family or even friends, tell them with a huge smile on your face, and if they ask questions, then tell them, but don't keep bringing it up if no one seems to care!! congrats!! tell me your name so I can buy ur cd!!!!

And also, bragging doesnt bring you good karma. You dont want it to come bite you in the ***. You want to be successful dont you? Dont brag until you are. And even then...

There's a fine line between celebrating your achievements and sharing them with other people, and bragging about what you've done.  Shakespeare referred to 'braggards' as rather unattractive people.  You deserve big congratulations, and hope this is only the beginning, but try to maintain a little grace as you get successful.  People will remember you more for it-the business if full of braggarts.
