For Muslim men and women but especially for Muslim women because they usually dance more, so at functions like weddings, engagements, birthday parties, etc is it Islamically acceptable for Muslim women to dance? Obviously in front of Muslim women only... Because they're dancing to music, usually it's Bollywood music, and isn't that type of music considered haraam? Some practising Muslim sisters that I asked about this dancing (and they are the ones who say music is haraam) said it's ok to dance to music on weddings because it's a time of joy/to celebrate and you're allowed to celebrate/express your happiness like this... Is this correct?
Thanks for any help, may Allah bless you all.
