Is it ok to do Cardio Before my Workout?

I am going to be doing swimming and Cross Country in the Fall.

Any my gym is 20 minutes from school and 10 minutes from my house. ( I live 30 minutes from school).

So basically i will have to go to practice for one of these teams (alternating days for each team) before I go to the gym to lift.

My question is: Will I still lose fat, and gain muscle if i "HAVE" to do cardio before my workout?

  1. Yes, you'll actually lose fat faster with the cardio.  


  2. Yea! Cardio does wonders. In fact, it's probably better. To get your muscles warmed up. You'll lose the weight a lot faster, and gain muscle at probably the same speed but it will be more noticable thanks to the weight lost.
