Is it ok to drink expired pepsi?

The Pepsi expired last month on the 15. What will happen if I drink it? is it really bad?

but from what i hear, a product has a shelf life of an extra 12months after expiery, but its up to you if you believe tha or not? to me, once it says its expired, nope

it wouldn't harm you i guess.. but i'll assure you it wont taste good and you wont like it.

you can just buy a new one.

or buy coke instead,, it's better. ^_^

Nothing will happen. It will taste very flat. A month won't do anything to it.

Let me tell you about Expiration dates in general.

Usually they are just Quality control, not the definitive date that the food becomes poisonous. You can still eat it, it just wont' taste as good. If you've had it in the refridge, it will be perfect. IF its been int he sun, it'll be bland, but still edible.

Also, the extra ingredients in pepsi will ensure you won't get poisoned from it. Especially if it's still sealed. the Sssss you hear from the can means all oxygen has been completely removed. Bacteria will not grow there.

The only thing i have noticed with pop past the date is that it is more likely to be flat and has a syrup taste to it but it didn't make me sick or anything

it won't be 'bad" so to speak, like it won't make you sick. i can always tell when a pepsi is past it's prime though, when it taste like wood. weird i know, but i'm serious.

It is funny that some foods have a expiration date on them.  Like pickles, with all of the vinegar it will be good for a long time after the expiration date.  Now my experience in Pepsi being out of date, it will be fine.  It would take a long time for the toxic mix of Pepsi to go bad.  It is very acidity so, things cant live in it very well, so go ahead and put that Pepsi on some Ice and drink it!!!
