Is it ok to drink something and THEN work out???

or is it better to workout and then drink something?

  1. Just like the first person to answer stated, it's best to drink before, during, and after.

    You know you are going to sweat out electrolytes, so drink some sports drink before working out.


  2. You should drink water before you workout during your workout (maybe gatorade depending on your hydration) and after your workout.

  3. you need to be hydrated all the time... so drink before during and after
