Is it ok to eat any kind of duck , or does it have to be a particular species?

for exzmple i have a duck.. im not sure what species it is ..just a reg white duck to me.lol. ive been raising it as aa pet for sometime now but the more noise it makes the yummier it looks too.. would it be ok to eat?

You can eat it.  Most standard white ducks seen on TV are Pekins and they are bred to be table ducks.  

Depending on it's age, it might not be the tastiest duck but that's your call.

Sure it would, add your dog or cat to the pot if the pet duck doesn't seem to be enough.

It may have intestinal worm and it's a family duck don't eat it.Also the duck would taste yucky.You will have a million night mares and I will never let You live it down either and duck and Me will come and get You.I will hold You down while duck pecks You too death!!!!

you might want to take it to a vet and have them check if it is okay to eat, like it has no diseases or nething

it would be better if u try out grilled duck ..if u never eat before don't eat with onion or u might be throw out..i rather like chicken and lamb beside any duck of species are safe same goes to chicken

NNNOOOOO!!!! U should not eat a DUCK. If it was a pet expecially. U wouldnt want a animal to raise u and decide u ook like u would taste good grilled or barbqued.
