I have a swim meet today in the afternoon. It's the 400 meters so it includes distance. Can I eat eggs for breakfast?

  1. IT IS A FINE IDEA BUT TRY TO EAT AT LEAST 45 MINUTES BEFORE WARMUPS

  2. Instead of 'eating' eggs, try drinking them straight up (uncooked). They're much healthier uncooked and easier to digest. Plus, it's quicker.

  3. As long as that is what you normally eat in the morning. If it isn't, then you should not have eggs. They do give you protein, but you never are supposed to have protein before working out, because then your body doesn't have time to store the protein, and you will get a stomach ache. I always have cereasl and a banana. Bananas give you quick energy, and they fill you up.

  4. Was that Jackass or the Tom Green Show where they had a boiled egg eating contest and barfed them everywhere?

  5. Yes! Eggs are awesome to eat before a swim meet. They are one of the best things you can eat. My coach recommends them to us all the time. Just don't eat within 15-20 mins. before your race or you could swim bad due to a "heavy stomach".

  6. Yes good protein & energy
