Is it ok to eat meat-loaf if I'm on a diet?

I was planning on going to Denny's tomorrow, and I was wondering if I could eat meat-loaf for dinner tomorrow. I've been on a diet for 2 months now and exercised, and I've lost 20lbs. But will I gain major weight eating meat--loaf?

  1. Meat loaf is full of fats and bad carbs.  Try a salad or if you absolutely have to have the meatloaf, ask for it without gravy and potatoes of any kind.

Congrats on the diet.  20 lbs. is amazing.  Treat yourself to a non-food item to celebrate the milestone.  It's not easy and you deserve a reward.

  2. if you're trying to lose weight you should really give Acai Berry a shot! i saw it on oprah and i'm trying it myself right now.. got a 14-day FREE trial from this site!

  3. Yes. It just depends which diet your on. In-fact, it's very good if your on the meat loaf diet.

  4. I eat healthly but I havent had any meatloaf which is a shame but her'es some recipies

    3 tbsp. chili sauce

1/2 pkg. chopped spinach (thawed and well drained)

    Fresh ground pepper (to taste)

Mix (well) above ingredients. Shape into a loaf. Spread with 1 tablespoon chili sauce. Place on bottom rack of oven.

Serve hot as a main course or cold as a sandwich filling or lunch platter.

Save 1 tablespoon for spreading on loaf.

    RECIPE: Low-Fat Meatloaf

    November 27, 2007

    • 1 pound 90-percent lean ground beef

    • 1 pound ground turkey breast

    • 8 oz. fat-free sour cream

    • 1 package onion soup mix

    • 1 egg equivalent of Egg Beaters

    • 1 cup bread crumbs

    • Optional: Carrots and potatoes

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large bowl, mix together the beef and turkey. Stir in the remaining ingredients until well-combined.

Wash carrots and potatoes, and peel the carrots. Cut into cubes or chunks.

Place meatloaf in a shallow roasting pan surrounded by carrots and potatoes and bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, testing for doneness.

Juices and interior should not be pink. A meatloaf baked without vegetables may be cooked in a loaf pan.

though I would omit the carrots and potatotes also I would just stick to turkey or beef hope this works
