  1. yh well u gotta eat sum time chew on other side

  2. no, it isn't

my doctor always tell me to stay four horse

  3. Yes, it OK, you can do it, but it is NOT a good idea to do so. The reason is that the filling is not cured. Did you think the filling became instantly hard? No, like with concrete used to make a brick wall, the filling starts out very soft and mushy, and hardens over time, It takes several hours for the filling to become hard enough to not be deformed by you chewing on something which is hard, such as a pretzel. You can drink liquids, like soups and soft drinks, so in that respect, eating is OK, but it in NOT OK to chew on anything for several hours.

  4. wait a while

  5. You shouldn't eat anything for at least an hour after. If it's a white filling, you should not drink any tea, coffee cola or anything with staining potential for 24 hours.  You may not want to eat anything though until the numbness wears off which should be like 3-4 hours.

  6. it matters what your eating. you can eat soft things and soup, but try to avoid crunchy and chewy things like gum and chips. and then if you eat right after your cheek would still b numb so you might end up chewing up your cheek really bad. so its probably best to wait a bit

  7. Ha this is funny because my best friend and I went out to eat after she had her tooth filled yesterday. The dentist said wait two hours but, she only waited 45 minutes. Other than her mouth being numb it didnt hurt her feeling at all

  8. NO WAY! that is not smart at all!

  9. No..i you have to wait like 45 minutes

i'm going 2 get mine filled 2day lol

  10. no its not :0 theres a possible chance you could get an infection . wait about 45 mins .

  11. Whew!! Maybe as long as you do not eat anything that will stick to that filling for at least 24 hours or so.

Other wise, I would eat on the opposite side of your mouth.

  12. No, I had to get a couple and they told me to wait a while-like an hour or so.  I waited that long at least.  Let your mouth recover a little and let the fillings settle.

  13. It depends on the filling, and the dentist. My dentist always used to tell me I can eat right away on it. Sometimes he used to tell me to eat soft foods for a few days. It really depends. Try eating on the other side.

  14. no! it will cause the filling to fall out and you could get food in the cavity and get an infection!
