Is it ok to feed my hamster half a slice of carrot every day?

I was wondering if it's ok to feed my hamster just half a slice of carrot everyday after i have played with her.

not EVERY day,about once a week.If you feed a hamster too much vegetables they CAN get wet tail.(a disease that occurs in syrian hamsters mostly) wet tail is hard to cure.so a vegetable once or twice evry week is ok but not too much. hope i helped :)

Yes, in fact fruits and vegetables are the best things you can feed a hamster. A whole carrot would be even better. Just make sure that you don't feed her to many green vegetables because that could give her diareah. Also remember that you need to chop the carrots into small pieces so that the hamster can fit it into his mouth.

That is fine. As long as you are not giving her sweets and salty chips she will be fine.

Im pretty sure you could feed it a bag of carrots and it would be fine, I used to give it whole carrots its good for their teeth

yes, but just watch out if its having any bad symptoms, so that's when you stop feeding it carrots a lot. oh, and try to feed it something else a night.

we used to give our hamsters these yogurt dollop things... so you should be okay with carrots. but the yogurt things were treats, only for like once in a few days. but carrots are healthy for rabbits and guinea pigs, so if its a dwarf hamster you should be alright. a regular-sized hamster and you might want to consider maybe even a little bit more.

It sounds fine to me. You might not want to play with her after she eats, she might throw up.

Depends how large your slices of carrot are. But yeah, I always did that with my syrian hamster and he lived to be like, 3 and a half years old. He liked peas too so maybe give yours a pea instead of carrot for a few days, she might like the change :)
