Of course it is !

I used to have a share in a CFM Shadow microlight, in which I flew over 100 hours. I was nervous everytime I flew it !! I knew it was the safest aircraft in the sky, impossible to spin, a cinch to glide (if the engine failed !), and yet there were butterflies every time !

Looking back, I think that if ever the nervousness had disappeared, I would have given up flying. Over-confidence in the air can be a killer.
