  1. I have been giving my 15 old adult/regular cereal for sometime. Give the types that are easy to chew and melt in water quickly. Maybe you can try different flavor. My daughter used to throw up when I gave her something with strong flavor, such as vitamin D drops.

  2. Try giving him the regular cereal as a snack--dry.  You can also try oatmeal and grits....

  3. Yes it is, I suggest going with one that includes dha and ara.  Also that is iron fortified.  I started giving my daughter regular cereal like chereos with vitamin d milk and I noticed by her diet she wasn't getting enough iron.  So I did some research and found a website that said you should actually continue to give you child the iron fortified baby cereal til' up to 24 months to ensure they get the proper amount of iron.  As long as your toddler is eating solids I would say it's not a problem.  But as always consult your doctor if your worried.  Best of luck!

Also I would try to introduce different types of regular cereal, if he throws them up continously no matter what you give him I suggest bringing it up to his pediatrician.

  4. Sure.  You can give baby cereal to a toddler.

However, if he isn't eating ANY adult foods yet (i.e., is still completely on purees and vomits all table food) you would want to speak to the doctor about it.

  5. If it's one of those sugar laced ones, I'd have to say no.

  6. yes...i he takes it...hes getting to an age where you can start giving him soft foods like baby food and bannanas but i always say call your dr if youre not sure
