Question:

Is it ok to give my guinea pigs more than 1 piece of carrot with other Vegetables?

  1. are you feeding them or bumming them?

Your guinea pigs should only have one medium sized baby carrot (or piece of regular carrot that size) PER PIG, and PER DAY along with the rest of their cup of veggies per pig, per day.  Too many carrots can cause digestive problems, not to mention they don't have a lot of vitamin C.  They should be considered a "treat".

    Carrots are a favorite among most piggies.  They tend to eat them first, leaving not as much room for the veggies higher in Vitamin C.

  3. Deffinitly. Well then again all I have had is Siberean Dorf Hamsters. THEY ARE SOOOOO SWEET and small, and cuttly, and they breed a LOT.

  4. yes it should be. i have ten guinea pigs all in different cages and we give them all more than one carrot with there vegetables.

    they quit when full. like most animals except people. they eat to much some times like on the holidays. i mean people

  7. I dont know. Mine died when i gave it too many carrots. I say give it 3 times a day or less. Breakfest, Lunch, and Dinner. Haha Hope this helps.
